RWA Technology People

RWA Technology People are a specialist IT recruitment agency based in Auckland. The business has around 15 recruiters and recruits both permanent and contract positions.

As marketing partner, Prominence oversees all marketing activities and reports directly to the company Directors and board. At the outset RWA had tried two different methods for managing their marketing, including an in-house junior marketer and shared responsibility, with neither proving very successful.

Prominence was engaged with a remit to rejuvenate the brand and to then increase its market reach to a broader client and candidate audience. After two years of working together the RWA brand has had a complete refresh, with new logos, video, collateral, web design, office fit-out, messaging and even a custom designed arcade machine! 

Video

RWA were looking for a way to engage with their audiences outside of the typical recruitment conversations, which tended to be fairly one-dimensional. They also wanted to be different from other agencies and, crucially, wanted to showcase how they can help the IT industry. Several video series were devised, with each tackling a specific industry issue. This included showcasing all the different job opportunities that exist in the IT industry by featuring prominent technology professionals, and also providing advice for specific IT roles through interviews with these professionals.

Results

The results from the re-brand and subsequent outsourced marketing have been fantastic. The agency has hit every objective set in terms of audience growth and engagement, and most significantly now has noticeably more market penetration; which has resulted in new business leads, easy business development, better quality candidates and even a number of awards!
